Community Emergency Response Team

Logan and Charity enjoy being part of the Community Emergency Response Team in Decatur County. CERT, for short, can help first responders do search and rescue, triage, and secure areas during disasters. This group of volunteers are overseen by Decatur County Emergency Management.

Charity is the leader for the St. Paul subdivision and does the tracking for the organization.

Decatur County CERT also provides traffic control for events such as local 5K's, the Tree City Rolling Tour, the Decatur County Fair Parade, the Fall Festival Parade, and other events.
